Another Tough Day

Fished with Joe. Temperature this morning was in the upper 60's and when we quit fishing it was in the upper 70's. By the time we got home the temps were in the middle 90's. Just too hot for this time of year. The wind was out of the northeast very light, with just a little chop on the lake. Ideal fishing conditions. The water temp is 75 Degrees. Started fishing in our usual location with the plans of not moving too far to find some fish. Well, the fishing was tough and we just could not find a school of perch. We would catch about 4 fish very fast and then it would just shut down for 15 minutes. We stayed and picked away at the fish and then for the last hour of fishing we decided to try the swamp for some perch. The conditions in the swamp were not very good (green water from the algae) but we set up anyways. Dropped the first line down and bam, perch on. We only caught 3 fish here so we called it a day. Kept 36 perch on another tough day of fishing.
