Fishing After the Storms

Fished with Joe. Temperature this morning was in the lower 60's and when we quit fishing it was in the lower 70's. The wind was out of the northeast about 10 knots with waves around a foot. The water temp is 71 degrees. We had a big blow for a  couple of days out of the east and it tore up the lake. Lots of dirty water. There was also a large mayfly hatch last night. We had to go 3 miles the other side of the River Raisen shipping channel to find some clean water. We set up with dipsy's and spoons set at 75 feet back and bandits set at 80 feet back. The catching was slow but we were picking away at the fish. We finally found a good pod of fish so we stayed fishing in this area. Ended up with 12 walleye and 1 perch.
