That's it for Walleye

Fished with Joe and Uncle Dan. Temperature this morning was in the upper 40s and when we quit fishing it was in the middle 70s. The wind was out of the south southwest 15 to 20 knots with waves 2 to 3 feet. The weather report was for light winds out of the southwest. The water temp is 67 degrees. Because of the waves we went into the dumping grounds and made a long troll towards our fishing spot running wiggle warts set at 70 feet on one side of the boat and 90 feet on the other side. The wind and waves were blowing the planer boards all over the place so the lures were not running very accurate. We were marking a lot of fish on the graph but they all had lock jaw. Made 3 or 4 passes but it was very difficult to control the boat.  We needed some fish because we wanted to go to Trappers and have a fish dinner. Well we got lucky and caught a couple of walleye that were pretty nice size so we had enough fish for dinner. Also caught 2 small walleye and 1 sheep head. Tough day of fishing but it paid off with a great walleye dinner. This will be it for walleye fishing this year.
